Operation of the ISUZU Foam Tender Fire Truck 1. Foam Liquid Refilling There are two methods to refill the foam liquid tank in an ISUZU foam fire engine: • Direct pouring through the manhole. • Compressed air transfer from foam liquid drums using the truck's onboard air system. Steps for compressed air transfer: ① Connect the suction tube, air charging nozzle, and tire inflation hose with adapters. ② Start the engine to ensure sufficient air pressure in the truck's air reservoir. ③ Close the foam proportioner and open the foam tank inlet valve. ④ Connect the air hose to the charging nozzle to introduce compressed air into the foam drum. ⑤ The foam liquid is pushed into the foam tank under air pressure. ⑥ Once the drum is empty, immediately shut off the air release valve and foam tank inlet valve to prevent excessive air intake. 2. Foam Firefighting Operations (1) Internal Foam Suction (Tank Supply) Foam is drawn from the onboard foam tank via the proportioning system. Steps: ① Connect hoses, foam guns, or monitors as needed.
